Orion is our COO and Senior Advisor and has several years of experience in the insurance industry. Originally from Dallas, Texas, Orion moved to Springfield to attend Illinois Wesleyan University, where he played four years of Division III soccer and earned a B.S. in Marketing. Orion later continued education at the University of Illinois-Springfield.
One of Orion’s favorite parts of the role is meeting with customers for annual coverage reviews and helping families navigate major life changes, especially walking parents through what insurance can look like when a new 16-year-old driver gets their license. He is passionate about making insurance easier to understand, keeping coverage up to date, and helping customers feel confident in the decisions they’re making.
Outside of work, Orion stays active through sports, including golf and indoor soccer leagues. He also enjoys stand-up comedy and relaxing with a good movie at home. Orion and his wife recently welcomed their first child, Nolan, who is four months old! Insurance runs deep in Orion’s family, as his grandfather was a State Farm agent for 40 years. That legacy is a big reason why he takes such pride in serving our customers every day!
